This month, our team in Uganda focused on bringing the Good News and discipleship to the Omalara community! The updates below came from Daniel, our In-Country Director; and Dennis, our Project Coordinator. Daniel and Dennis are pictured below with their families!
Home Fellowship Groups
We are thrilled to announce the launch of four new home fellowship groups! These groups, hosted in the homes of local caregivers, are designed to create a space for spiritual growth and community. We believe these fellowships will be a great source of encouragement for the caregivers and their neighbors, fostering deeper relationships with Jesus and with one another. We were so blessed to see the joy and excitement on the faces of those who attended the first meetings.
We have witnessed these groups not only meet spiritual needs, but also promote unity and heal broken relationships.
Reaching Out: Home Visits and Evangelism
The team also conducted home visits, specifically targeting families who live too far from the new fellowship groups. These visits were incredibly fruitful, and we celebrate the many people who accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! We’re especially moved by the story of a grandmom who, after a previous visit where she wasn’t ready to commit, couldn’t wait to surrender her life to Christ when the team returned.
During these visits, the team also distributed clothing to mothers and children, which was all donated by Emmanuel Bible Church – the church planted by Arrows + Hope’s In-Country Director, Daniel, and his wife, Jalia. This brought big smiles and reminded the families of God’s love and care for their physical needs as well.
Thank you for a Successful 10th Annual Golf Tournament!
On Tuesday, September 16, we held our 10th Annual Golf Tournament for Arrows + Hope at Diamond Springs Golf Course. We’re thrilled to share that we had a FULL roster of teams and raised a record amount of funds for the ministry. To God be the glory! He continues to provide for the children in Uganda that he holds dear to his heart.
This incredible success wouldn’t have been possible without your generous support. A BIG Thank you to each golfer, sponsor, and volunteer! Thank you for making a difference.
Prayer Requests

- Pray for the newly formed Home Cell Fellowship groups; that they would grow in their understanding of the gospel and share the good news with others!
- Pray for Peter’s health and strength. (Peter was paralyzed after falling out of a mango tree – he is pictured here.)
